Eleven programs pass accreditation

Eleven academic programs passed the accreditation process of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. last December 5-6, 2011. The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) reported that the following programs in the Graduate School were given Level I accreditation: Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Nursing, Master in Business Administration and Master in Public Administration. Likewise, the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program of the College of Business and Accountancy was given Level I status, along with the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education of Dinalupihan Campus.

On the other hand the following programs passed the preliminary survey: Doctor of Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Passing the preliminary survey qualifies the programs for Level I accreditation in 2012.
As of January this year, the University has three programs accredited Level II, twelve Level I and nine Preliminary Survey Visit. To wit:

  • Master of Arts in Education (MC)

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Bachelor of Secondary Education (AC and DC)
  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (DC)
