BPSU Graduate School Dean is GEACCUP-Region 3 Prexy

Doctor Danilo C. Galicia, Dean of the BPSU Graduate School was elected president of the Graduate Education Association of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (GEACCUP) Region 3, during its Annual Regional Assembly at Bulacan State University last September 15, 2012.The GEACCUP is a professional regional organization engaged in the collaborative study and resolution of issues and concerns in graduate education in instruction, research, extension and auxiliary services.

It is a network of the 12 state universities and colleges in Central Luzon committed to collaborate and improve the quality of advanced education through relevant instruction, purposive research and dynamic extension. The GEACCUP also intends to assist and contribute to the formulation of policies and reforms in graduate education in aid of legislation.

President-elect Dr. Galicia will serve a two-year term together with the other officers as stated in the GEACCUP Region 3 by-laws. The new set of officers will be inducted come October 2012.
