Program Description

The BSN is a four-year program consisting of general education and professional courses. Professional courses begin in the first year and threads through the development of competencies up to the fourth year level. The BSN program provides an intensive nursing practicum that will refine clinical skills from the first year level to ensure basic clinical competencies required of a beginning nurse practitioner.

The College of Nursing & Midwifery has two existing Curriculum at present, (1) Associate In Health Sciences Education ( AHSE) existing for Level  3, 4 which is guided by the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing, Inc. (ADPCN, INC.) Resource Units for Nursing 100 – 105 with Clinical Focus  (1st Edition 2004 ) and (2) BSN New Curriculum per CHED Memorandum # 14 Series of 2009 applied to BSN Level 1 last  June 2009 & Level II started with CMO # 5 series of 2008 on their First Year and adopted the curriculum from CMO # 14 series of 2009 on their Level II   as start of implementation this June 2009.
