Description of the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is a five-year degree program that has a total of 222 units base on the latest curriculum being used. The program provides the students with specialized knowledge and skills in English, Mathematics, Physical and Social Sciences, together with gradually arranged principles and procedures of civil engineering training to enable the students to master the fundamentals and specialized skills of the occupation for which training is desired.

A student is required to finish the first four years of the program before he/she shall be allowed to enroll in supervised on-the-job training. The training requires that the student completes 320 hours in the summer of the fourth year in the course.

A Memorandum of Agreement with Don Honorio Ventura College of Arts and Trades (now Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University) made the offering of Engineering programs possible in AY 1997-1998. The Institutionalization of the Engineering and Architecture programs was made possible by virtue of Board Resolution No. 20, series of 2003.
