BPSU and Daejon University build bridges for International collaboration

During the visit of BPSU Officials to Daejon University in South Korea on 28 November 2017, the President of DJU, Dr. Jeong Seo Lee, signified his interest in forming a partnership with BPSU and welcomed the possibility of sending DJU students and professors to BPSU. This gesture was seconded by DJU Director of the Institute of International Affairs, Dr. Bong Hwan Lee. Likewise, the BPSU President expressed his willingness to open BPSU for DJU students and faculty members and affirmed that BPSU will be sending students and faculty members to DJU as well.

Soonchunhyang University and BPSU plan International programs for students and employees

BPSU representatives visited Soon Chun Hyang University (SCHU) for a meeting with the Dean of Global Relations and SCHU professors on 27 November 2017. The meeting emphasized the programs of SCHU for foreign students and the special programs of BPSU for international students. Through the discussion of these programs, both BPSU and SCHU were able to look into the possibility of collaborating and offering new programs not only for the students but for the employees as well. The meeting culminated with a short visit to the facilities of SCHU including the Office of Global Relations and Education Center.

MOU between BPSU and Mokpo National Maritime University inked

With primary focus on student and faculty-exchange activities, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between BPSU and Mokpo National Maritime University (MMU) was signed by the BPSU President, Dr. Gregorio J. Rodis, BPSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Emmanuel C. Macaraeg, the MMU President, Dr. Park Sung Hyeun, and MMU Professor/Dean of International Exchange & Education Center, Dr. Jeong Jung Sik at the Mokpo Natonal Maritime University, Mokpo, South Korea on 27 November 2017.

TIMES CORE hosts BPSU to South Korea

TIMES CORE, a leading newspaper publishing company in South Korea, assisted BPSU President, Dr. Gregorio J. Rodis, BPSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Emmanuel C. Macaraeg, BPSU International Affairs Head, Associate Professor Rowell de Guia, in their visit to universities and government agencies in Korea. TIMES CORE provided full financial support to BPSU delegates together with TIMES CORE officers, Ms. Maria Nenita Alba, TC SLC Supervisor, and Ms. Claribel Aresta, TC SLC Corporate Secretary, during their visit to Seoul, South Korea from 27-29 November 2017. The activity was part of the mutual agreement between BPSU and TIMES CORE to endeavor improvement of their institutional capacity to create and deliver international programs.
