Christian Ministers collab for Headstart

Association of Christian Churches in Mariveles (ACCM), Grand Innovasia Concept Cor­poration and Tabernacle of Praise and Worship - Assemblies of God (TOPW-AG) join together for BPSU Dinalupihan Campus Of­fice for Research, Extension and Training Services' Headstart pro­gram. The medical mission was able to minister 150 patients at Sto. Niño Elementary School last March 4, 2017.

Beneficiaries were given free spiritual counselling, check-up and medicines. The counsel­ling team was composed of four leaders coming from TOPW-AG namely Ptr. Arman T. Pascua , Al­fonso Romero, Samantha F. Batal­la and Evangerline D. Tamayo.

Two doctors, namely Dr. Lar­ry Santos and Dr. Sylvia Santos, are both from a Christian organi­zation, voluntarily performed the free consultation and prescription to the beneficiaries. They were tapped by Ptra. Marietta Ramirez; the ACCM President and head pastor of House of Praise Chris­tian Church in Mariveles.

Medicines were provided by GICC President, Ms. Xiaojing T. Luo of Grand Invasia Concept Corporation in Mariveles, Bataan. Day before the medical mis­sion, a seminar was conducted by Maricris David, BPSU-DC nurse. With the theme "Malusog na Pamayanan sa Wastong Edu­kasyon," Headstart beneficiaries were taught about information regarding the effects of a healthy environment.

The said activities are parts of the one-year plan for Headstart Program 2016.
