Attendance to WIPO Enabling IP Environment (EIE) Workshop

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) conducted the Enabling IP Environment (EIE) workshop in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) with the assistance of Japan Patent Office (JPO) on March 27-31, 2017 at Max’s Restaurant, Scout Tuazon, Quezon City.  BPSU representatives to this workshop were Mrs. Arlene D, Iba┼łez, Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) Manager and Mr. Eduardo S. Tinao, Chairperson Research, Extension and Training (RET) and Technical Staff of BPSU ITSO.

 The workshop aims to establish a pool of competent Technology Transfer professionals within the select “technology creating institutions” with the skill, motivation and creativity to use institutional technology- IP, to orchestrate innovation through early stage commercialization process. The workshop was handled by competent Technology Transfer experts and speakers sent by the WIPO. The following Resource Speakers compose the Workshop Faculty:
