Goals

The Master in Public Administration (MPA) is intended for those with career interest in public governance. The curriculum blends theoretical and applied concepts and issues and real-world experiences for the novice administrator.

In addition, it provides students with theoretical background and technical skills needed for the effective implementation of public policy in a developing country.

Objectives

  • Professionally upgrade the management skills and competence of policy-makers and managers of both public and private organization;
  • Develop a high level of commitment in terms of governance and administration;
  • Prepare student-professionals to become better public managers, administrators and government workers, and
  • Equip students with skills and knowledge needed in managing and developing organization particularly on the welfare and interest of the community.
