BPSU Faculty Researchers Bag Top Three Places at the 5th BASC Regional Research and Development Conference
Hits: 1043The Research and Development Office would like to congratulate the BPSU Faculty Researchers who participated and won at the 5th BASC Regional Research and Development Conference conducted today, October 05, 2021, anchored to the theme “Advancing Research and Development Innovations in Science and Technology Amidst the Pandemic”.
Three (3) out of the four (4) faculty researchers who presented their research output under the Agriculture, Environment, and Natural category won the top three places.
BPSU Orani Campus faculty researcher Mr. Mark Nell C. Corpuz’s research entitled "Socio-ecological System Assessment for Conservation Planning in Riverine and Mangrove Fishery Areas in Bataan, Philippines" won 1st place while two of the presentations from BPSU Main Campus faculty researchers Mr. Alvin James V. Gonzales’ “Development and Evaluation of Food Products Incorporated with Carabao Mango (Mangifera indica) Pulp Powder” and Dr. Leslie R. Jorge - Acain’s study entitled "Embracing the New: Factors Influencing the Adoption of Sustainable Farming Technology in Mango Farm Cooperators of Bataan" received the 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Aside from this, Ms. Cherrilyn E. Ventura from BPSU Abucay Campus also presented her study "Flush Intensity of Mango (Mangifera indica L. CV. "Carabao") Leaves as Affected by Different Flush Induction Protocol".
